Kevin Walker, Managing Director

Kevin has been involved in the physical security sector since the late 1980’s and has developed contacts throughout UK in various HM Governmental Departments and been instrumental in securing prestigious projects on behalf of Parliamentary Estates, Foreign & Commonwealth Office, MoD, Metropolitan Police as well as working for most Major UK Contractors / Consultants on high security projects in UK and Overseas.


Colin Burns, Installation and Contracts Manager

Colin has a wealth of on-site experience aided by a Technical /Drawing Office background from working for British Aerospace in his early career.  Recent high profile projects that Colin has supervised include Heathrow Terminal  5, post award survey of government buildings in Kabul, Afghanistan, “troubleshooting” site problems at Petrochemical Plant, Singapore and pre-award site surveys in Middle East and Africa for HMG.

Colin has also built up and maintains a vast and close working relationship with major London Contractors and Housing Companies since 2000.


Paul Sampson, Operations and QA Manager

Paul has been involved in the QA / Operations Manufacture since the early 1990’s and has achieved NVQ Level 4 in Supervisory Management and OHAS 18001 Quality Auditors Certification. Responsible for the timely and efficient operations for a variety of product ranges and complex specifications, Paul enjoyed great success as head of operations for a multi-million turnover company working to very tight timescales and exacting performance levels.

Paul is responsible for all QA issues and Supplier / Sub Contract engagement including Financial Control.


Steve Thomas, Estimating and Technical Manager

Steve is a Time Served Sheet Metal Worker and following continuous promotions rose to manage a very busy Estimating Department submitting multi-million pound bids to clients globally for a wide variety of products and specifications.

The “hands-on” background that Steve enjoys enables him to view enquiries with a practical mind and submit a quotation based upon a common sense approach and a fit for purpose and workable design even at the earliest of tentative enquiry stage. This ensures that all quotes submitted will not be subjected to “surprise” price hikes at a later date.

Steve holds NVQ Supervisory Management, OHAS 18001 Quality Auditing, Practical Risk Assessment and Basic H&S Certificates plus CSCS Cardholder.


Kyle Deswert, Works Foreman

Kyle is a time served Sheet Metal Worker with City and Guilds in thin and thick plate technology, Coded Welding in MIG and British Standards in TIG welding procedures.

Following subsequent promotions Kyle was ultimately responsible for the day to day supervision of over 50 personnel involved in varied metalworking fabrication works. Kyle leads by example and by offering a skilled approach on all projects undertaken, he is a well respected and conscientious tradesman.

Kyle has also successfully completed Asbestos Awareness, PAS Inspection and Testing, Fork Lift Operation and Drivers Hours Training Courses , plus various Supervisory Courses .


Stewart Thomas, Senior Fabricator

Stew is a time served Blacksmith with City and Guilds in thick plate technology and held the position as Supervisor to a small specialist team of fabricators involved in bespoke and high specification manufacture of aluminium welded blast resistant products, together with Machine Room design.

Stew enjoys a good “all round” skill background and flexible ability to work “in house” or “on site” whenever the demand needs.

Stew holds certificates covering National Safety Group, Safety Passport, IPAF Powered Access Licence, PASMA Certificate of Competence and CSCS Holder for site works.


Darren Smart, Lead Install Engineer

Darren has over 15 years site experience installing metal fabricated products for a variety of clients from in UK and Overseas –including a spell in Afghanistan. He, together with Kenny below, has built up a close working relationship with a number of allied Trade clients and is well respected in his profession.

Darren holds Certificates covering PASMA (Mobile Access Towers) Competence, Asbestos Awareness, NVQ in Performing Manufacturing Operations, Manual Lifting and Handling, Construction Site Supervisors Safety Certificate, IPAF Mobile Work Platforms Certificate, National Accredited Safety Passport for Refineries and CSCS Holder.


Kenny McGovern, Site & Installations Manager

Kenny has 20 years site experience installing metal fabricated to a variety of clients and high profile projects. These include Senior Site Engineer at Heathrow T5, and almost 12 months placement in Kabul, Afghanistan as Site Supervisor on a multi-million pound installation for an ISAF coalition government. Kenny has also worked overseas on similar projects in Russia, Belgium and Ireland.

Kenny is a popular guy and, like Darren above, has built up a good client relationship and enjoys a friendly approach in his duties towards all customers and colleagues.

Kenny holds Certificates covering National Safety Group, Safety Passport, IPAF Mobile Works Platform certificate, Construction Site Supervisors Safety Certificate, Manual Lifting and Handling, PASMA (Mobile Access Towers)Competence, National Accredited Safety Passport for Refineries, and CSCS Holder.
